Mr. Tyssul Evans presented a cheque for £2000 to the Celebration Committee in the Smiths Arms on the 19th of April 2012. Mr. John Thomas the co chairman of the Celebration Committee thanked the Community Council for their generous donation and their continuous support to the village. The donation will be used to fund a number of specific activities and events during the celebration year. See list of events on the website.
